Message from Chairman

ITQAN Education Foundation or its Malay language version, Yayasan Pendidikan ITQAN, or in short ‘YaPI’, is a foundation registered with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) of Malaysia {Registration No: 529795-U}. The main activities of IEF are aimed at promoting holistic and integrated education to all sections of the society. We believe education is not just the dissemination of knowledge but includes as well the inculcation of noble characters through examples. This is a continuation of efforts as shown by our noble Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., and evident from the Quranic verse in which Allah s.w.t. declares the Prophet s.a.w. as being “Uswatun Hasanah”.

ITQAN program is the first major society-oriented program implemented by the Foundation. Beginning from a humble effort from a few brothers and sisters from Yemen in an area of Kuala Lumpur called Medan Idaman, Gombak, the program has spread to other areas of the Federal Territory, Selangor and Johor. InsyaAllah, one day ITQAN will be the pride of all Muslims, irrespective of nationality, for those who love the Quran.

We hope and pray, through the voluntary effort by the staff especially the teachers of ITQAN, more and more Malaysians and Muslims from all over the world, become hafizes and the spirit of al-Quran is ever living and growing, insyaAllah.
